I could explain at length why L.U.C.I.D. works. But the people best placed to talk about it are of course those who trusted the method.
I had the chance to test « relative pitch » at a time when my playing had stalled a little. The module was fairly easy to follow (apart from the chapter on sixths, which took me a while to master!!). I was surprised to realise that I could now hear every interval quite easily. There are all sorts of benefits, even in places I was not expecting. I have even started singing again, having discovered that I can sing in tune today!!
A singer in the making (I started late!), I was thrilled at the idea of testing a method that would improve my intonation and my ear without having to read notes.
